AMTM – T-Shirt 2009 (english)

The Plan
We already had the plan to start a new donation for AMTM this year – but for a long time we had no perfect idea, what to do.
By chance we found the new shirts from AMTM in their newsletter and ordered one of them:

The plan was to let it sign from all members of Il Divo and sell it on ebay.com, the money should go to AMTM, of course! We didn’t know if we would be successful and decided to try getting the signatures at several concerts the members of our fanclub would see, so three of us (Micha, Hübi and Ela) started in London. First of all: it worked!! All four signatures on the shirt, at the first try!
How it worked
They saw no chance to get the signatures before, during or after the concert, so they talked to an important looking man from the Il Divo-crew, explained the plan and asked him if he knew any possibility to get the signatures. Without much words he took the shirt with him, returned after the break, gave it to Micha and only said: “Done!” All signatures on the shirt!!!
During the rest of the concerts our girls waved to the members of Il Divo to thank them and to show who asked for signing the shirt, and all thanked them and gave “thumbs up”!
Die Auktion
In the meantime we exchanged several mails with Virginie Condette from AMTM, who was very pleased about the idea, it fits perfectly to the plans AMTM has itself: they will sell some Shirts with the autograph from Sébastien – but only him, not the others from Il Divo. The auction on ebay will start end of the year – we will report of course!
